The exploits of the Royal Navy during the First World War. Gordon and Donald Maxwell were brothers, and both served in the RNVR during WW1. The elder, Donald Maxwell was well known before the war as a naval artist on the staff of the Graphic, and was appointed Admiralty Official Artist in 1918. xii, 203pp, 16 plates in colour and 16 in black and white.
