Condition Very Good
This book is a curiosity in so much as the title page is typeset word for word from the first edition and dated 1722.
However at the bottom it states printed in Holland and is obviously 19th century and not intended to deceive.
The front paste down bears the armorial bookplate of Ricardi F.GVL.Brandt and the title the small stamp of R.F.W.Brandt who it appears has made ceramic bequests to the Victoria & Albert Museum and therefore may have been a collector of substance giving this book some pedigree.
Whatever its origins this edition is extremely scarce.
