Anne Pratt 1806-1893 was a renowned Kentish botanical illustrator. The sheets in this volume were originally issued as single sheets either plain or in colour and were often used as teaching aids in schools. I would speculate that at some time in the dim and distant past this volume has been recased. Spine ends are rubbed.
